Tournament Rules & Regulations
 

1. Swiss-System Tournament
   Players will compete in four rounds using the Swiss pairing system.
    

2. Time Control
   Each player will have 20 minutes on their chess clock.
    

3. Touch-Move Rule
   If you touch one of your own pieces, you must move it if a legal move exists. If you touch an opponent's piece, you must capture it if legally possible.
    

4. Good Sportsmanship
   Players and spectators are expected to show respect and good sportsmanship throughout the event.
    

5. Tournament Director Decisions
   All tournament director rulings are final.
